Cnectd Beta – IM App For All (Or Most) Platforms #iPhone #BlackBerry #Android #Cnectd

Posted by J K @ 8:57 am in Android Apps BlackBerry Symbian iPhone iPod Touch.

I'm not sure about all of you, but I have been looking for something like this for some time now. Finally, an IM application that supports group chat that can be used on most platforms. It currently supports Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and Symbian. Cnectd was developed to look like BlackBerry Messenger and has many of the same features. These features include integration into your BB's messages list, being able to share your location, share images, and it can even connect to your FaceBook account! Signing up is free, easy and done within the app itself. Keep in mind there are a few bugs to be worked out as it is still in the Beta stage but the developers of Cnectd seem to be responding to feedback well and getting fixes out in a timely manner. I am eager to get this installed on my Incredible in hopes of getting some old pals from BBM to give it a try. It really looks like this app has some serious potential.

CardStar For BlackBerry #Free #BlackBerry #CardStar

Posted by J K @ 10:06 am in Apps BlackBerry.

Personally, I have been waiting for something like this to come out. I know I get tired of having all those discount cards for local pharmacies and grocery stores taking up my whole key ring. CardStar is a FREE application that organizes your membership and discount cards freeing up space in your wallet and on your key chain. All you have to do is enter your barcode numbers into the app and it will create a portable card that can be scanned off of your BlackBerry screen. It has a built-in database with many well-known cards and they will be adding more as the app progresses. It does have a rather large footprint at approximately 3.5MB, but there seems to be more features than just storing card numbers. You can see those features and download CardStar at the link below.

In time for the 75th NFL Draft, Verizon Wireless customers can download NFL Mobile, a new application available today on select 3G Smartphones and 3G Multimedia Phones that gives fans of America's number one sport unprecedented access to information about their favorite teams, players and games.

NFL Mobile provides the latest news and information, including in-depth profiles of current players and draft prospects, team updates, mock drafts, expert analysis and more. The new app also lets fans watch NFL Network, including live coverage of the 2010 NFL Draft, which will be held at New York's Radio City Music Hall from Thursday, April 22 to Saturday, April 24.

NFL Mobile on Verizon Wireless will add new features later this year, including content from NFL training camps, preseason games and games throughout the 2010 NFL season. The new app also will offer live streaming of NBC's Sunday Night Football and NFL Network's Thursday Night Football. In addition, fans will have access to fantasy information, news, and player and team statistics, as well as receive NFL Network, which airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the only network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football.
NFL Mobile provides Verizon Wireless customers access to live radio broadcasts of every regular season and playoff game; postgame highlights; and ringtones, graphics and alerts for each team.

Also later this year, NFL RedZone, the wildly popular channel from NFL Network, which airs live or near-live look-ins of every key play and touchdown from Sunday afternoon games, is coming to mobile for the first time.

Phones, Pricing and Availability

At launch, NFL Mobile will be available on 13 3G Smartphones and 3G Multimedia Phones, including DROID by Motorola, Motorola DEVOURTM, DROID ERISTM by HTC, BlackBerry® CurveTM 8530, BlackBerry CurveTM 8330, BlackBerry Storm2TM, BlackBerry StormTM, BlackBerry TourTM, BlackBerry 8830 World Edition, LG Chocolate TouchTM, LG enV® TOUCH, LG VX8360 and Samsung RogueTM.

NFL Mobile is a free app covering the 2010 NFL season, with no subscription or monthly charges if customers download it by Dec. 31, 2010. For customers without an unlimited data plan, data or megabyte charges may apply when downloading or using the application.

Beginning today, customers with Android phones can download the app from the Verizon Channel in Android MarketTM. Customers with BlackBerry devices can enter http://mobile.vzw.com/nfl on their smartphones' browsers to download the app. Over the next few weeks, BlackBerry customers will also receive a virtual pre-load of the NFL Mobile app to the homescreen of their smartphones. BugMe! Sticky Notes Done Right *Update* #BugMe! #iPhone #iPod #iPad #BlackBerry #Update

Posted by rudeboy @ 3:51 pm in BlackBerry iPad iPhone iPod Touch.

Electric Pocket Releases Major Update to its BugMe! "Sticky Notes" App for iPhone

Electric Pocket has released a major update to the iPhone version of BugMe!, the popular note-taker and reminder application. Following the 1.0 release, the company listened to users and responded with a version that addresses many of those requests. The most significant updates include support for typing notes with the keyboard, the ability for iPod touch users to set alarms, and badges which show how many alarms are due.

BugMe! for iPhone lets users jot quick notes and doodles - with their finger as the pen - just like a digital yellow sticky note. BugMe!'s handwritten notes can be organized for reference, or easily shared by email or Twitter. Users with iPhones can set an alarm time on each note and BugMe! will sound the alarm and show a reminder when the task is due. BugMe!'s "Save to Home Screen" feature lets users save a copy of any note to the iPhone's app launcher screen. These small handwritten notes can be dragged and positioned as with any application icon so important BugMe! notes and reminders can be organized and visible on the iPhone's Home Screen at all times.

Evernote users can email or Tweet notes directly from BugMe! to their Evernote account. This feature enables Evernote users to make BugMe! a part of their life-organization they strive for with Evernote.

BugMe! for iPhone is available in the Apple App Store for US$1.99. More information can be found on the Electric Pocket website at http://bugme.net. BugMe! is also available for BlackBerry smartphones.

    Verizon Announcement Coming Soon..

Posted by n99hockey @ 11:05 am in Android BlackBerry Google Nexus One Rumors.

'Really' soon, according to a leaked flyer that made it's way in to BGR's hands.

If you are like me, Verizon and it's users (me included) has been giving you gray hairs daily with; rumors of new phones, and fake release dates, etc.  It is becoming just to much to handle anymore.

Perhaps the game is nearing an end.  What devices could they be?

HTC Incredible?  Nexus One?  Blackberry Bold 9650?  Your guess is as good as mine, stay tuned to TSP for any updates!

Hang in there, this mess could be ending soon!
