biteSMS Update v4.8 – Great Looking Update! #biteSMS #iPhone #iPod #Update
Posted by rudeboy @ 8:51 pm in Cydia iPhone Jailbreak iPod Touch Jailbreak. This is one of those apps that really really makes me wish i still had a Jailbroken iPhone (i don't since i run OS 4 Beta4). It seems that this awesome app just got better, especially lookwise.
What's New:
- Added Activator support, done nicely of course.
- Added back the delivery prefix feature (removed in Release 4.7) - mostly for UK O2 users. So biteSMS now supports the iPhoneDelivery application and Prefixes.
- When pressing Quick List with only one message pending, Quick Reply will now open, so less touch events.
- In the biteSMS app, the contact pictures now have nice rounded corners.
- Improved the speed of touch events and animations when using Quick Reply and Quick Compose buttons.
- Improved Privacy support in the new Quick Reply.
- You can now tap the Quick List icon when a Quick Reply is displayed - this in effect does a Later action for you.
- For Google “ad clicks” that result in the display of a web page we no longer exit out of biteSMS, but instead render the web page inside biteSMS.
- Fixed up bugs with the “Currently Used” messages counter for messages sent via your mobile carrier.
- Fixed up a bunch of other bugs and inconsistences.
Just to let you know that for the upcoming Apple Firmware 4.0 Release in June, biteSMS will be ready! We have completed most of the work, and are in the final testing stages. So expect a biteSMS release 4.9 very soon!
This should be the best, most stable release of biteSMS yet, so thanks for all your support!!!
As always, get this great app and/or update on Cydia.

Transfer over #Bluetooth via #iBlueNova #iPhone #Cydia #Jailbreak
Posted by ParaCAD @ 2:22 pm in Apps Cydia iPhone Jailbreak.
iBlueNova, an application that allows the transfer of files via Bluetooth, was released yesterday. Before you purchase the app, you are able to test it with a 15 day trial. To download the trial, select the Purchase button in the upper right corner (where the Install button normally is). This will not actually purchase the app but, will install the free 15 day trial.
Once installed, the app is decently easy to use. It allows you to transfer Pictures, Music, Videos or Other Files. You can view all the available Bluetooth connections in the Device Discovery option. Here you are also able to view the strength of the device’s WiFi, the device’s name, Address and Class as well as Favorite specific devices. You can also view your transfer activity allowing you to see the progress of transfers or stop a transfer.
The Setting contain quite a few options including the ability to set an authorization security pin which requires a pin to authorize a connection. You also have the ability to choose how you would like images sent. They are sent as .png’s by default however, you can change it so that they are sent as .jpeg. You can also choose to have incoming images saved to your Camera Roll. You are also able to view and change the save paths for Pictures, Music, Videos and Other files which is helpful.
Overall, the app is pretty easy to use. Just find the image or file you would like to transfer, select it and select the device you would like it sent to. I did have quite a few crashes and a few times in which the file transfer failed. So, the app does need a little work but, it’s a good start.
Note: If you would like to transfer files from iPhone to iPhone, both iPhones will need to have iBlueNova installed and running.
Available in Cydia for a free 15 day trial, then $5.99 after that.

MultiExchange for iPhone – Add Multiple Exchange Accounts #Exchange #iPhone #Jailbreak
Posted by ParaCAD @ 9:54 am in Apps Cydia iPhone Jailbreak iPod Touch Jailbreak.Back on 01/15/10 @roeiboot posted a blog telling us all about a new app called AddExchange(<----Link to blog post)
Well, now there's a new application that even expands on this called MultiExchange...It does just as it is named. See the information below from Openhebrew, posted today:
Yet another great reason to Jailbreak your device. Normally Apple only allows one Exchange server to be used on the device, but now with MultiExchange this restriction is removed and you can add and sync with how many servers you want.
Exchange server also allows you to do Push Mail just like with Yahoo accounts. You can even sync / push your gmail accounts:

When syncing with more then 1 server you have the built-in option to sync the data into it’s own group instead of merging it with the iPhone database, in order to avoid conflicts.
Please notice that while this has been tested to work OK with some servers, your millage may vary according to how Apple supports this.

This system application can be purchased from the BigBoss repository on Cydia for $0.99
